Urban Core was appointed to deliver a refurbishment across three buildings for Loreto. The biggest challenge was operating within a live environment, as students, teachers, and staff were present even during school holidays. Managing access and segregation between trades and school activities was crucial to prevent disruptions. The site layout and access points were regularly adapted to align with the project’s staging, and comprehensive communication with key stakeholders helped manage expectations. A site foreman was always present to oversee trades and ensure the project remained on schedule.
