Weetawaa House – PassivHaus

2024 was a ​milestone year for Urban Core, reaching gender parity as one of the first in our field, and it was a big personal year for founder Dominique Gill as she built her home. The house was designed by Isabelle Toland of Aileen Sage (a friend from uni days), and built by the Urban Core team. It features art from family friends and work from trusted contractors Dominique wanted to collaborate with again. It's a landmark in Australian residential architecture: cutting-edge design mixed with deeply personal touches. The Weetawaa House is both a professional showcase and a labour of love, reflecting Dominique's bold vision - one built on risk-taking, creativity and innovation.
